Pure Effect carries a full line of specialty impregnated carbon media for use where standard activated carbon filters is not effective in controlling constituents/contaminants in both air and water streams. For example, specialty media is used to control hydrogen sulfide gas in sewer gas and to remove of arsenic from water.

Other uses include odor control & elimination, toxic gas control, corrosion control, exotic vapor control, and the control of various air-borne contaminants generated from many industrial and manufacturing processes.
