Pure Effect, Inc. COVID-19 Update

On Friday, April 17th Governor Newsome announced his task force on business and job recovery.

The Task Force will work to develop actions that the government and businesses can take to help Californians recover as fast and safely possible from the COVID-19 induced recession and to shape a fair, green, and prosperous future. They will meet twice a month throughout 2020 to develop options that would work for all Californians, with a particular focus on those hardest hit by the pandemic.

On Wednesday, April 23rd Governor Newsome announced there is currently no date to re-open California as the (6) following indicators must be reached before a date can be given:

The ability to monitor and protect our communities through testing, contact tracing, isolating, and supporting those who are positive or exposed.
The ability to prevent infection in people who are at risk for more severe COVID-19;
The ability of hospital and health systems to handle surges.
The ability to develop therapeutics to meet the demand.
The ability for businesses, schools, and child care facilities to support physical distancing.
The ability to determine when to reinstitute certain measures, such as the stay-at-home orders, if necessary.
