World Cleanup Day is observed on the 3rd Saturday in September every year in an effort to unite millions of volunteers, governments and organizations in helping tackle a growing global waste problem. 191 countries participate together to help clean up the world in their areas, for more information on how to participate Click Here.

May 2nd - May 6th is Air Quality Awareness Week for 2022!

The Air Quality Awareness Week dates correspond with the beginning of Ozone Season, Wildfire Season, and World Asthma Day. The theme this year is "Be Aware and Be Prepared!"

 

Here's some things you can do to help save energy and reduce air pollution:

Ride your bike
Carpool when you can
Take the bus or shuttle
Reduce power usage by turning things off when not in use
Use CFL or LED light bulbs
