May 2nd - May 6th is Air Quality Awareness Week for 2022!

The Air Quality Awareness Week dates correspond with the beginning of Ozone Season, Wildfire Season, and World Asthma Day. The theme this year is "Be Aware and Be Prepared!"

Earth Day 2022

Earth Day is celebrated every year world wide on April 22nd, to raise awareness about environmental issues. April 22, 2022 marks the 52nd Anniversary of Earth Day.

Sen. Gaylord Nelson started Earth Day in 1970 to help support the creation of the  EPA  (Environmental Protection Agency) to address environmental issues, and has since contributed to many environmental laws in the United States.
